The organisation is managed by a Board of Management made up of voluntary community members. The organisation receives the majority of its funding from Government sources - Commonwealth and State, and some from Trusts and donations.

While Woodbine is a non-profit organisation, it faces the same challenges as all enterprises in operating efficiently and making the most effective use of its physical, financial and human resources.
